Legacy Launcher

Extreme Launcher began as a hobby project. We were seeking a launcher that would allow easy management of multiple Minecraft instances.

Although the update from v3 to v4 included major cleanup and improvements, it became difficult to manage and update. With v5, we've moved away from the .NET platform and have included support for many new features, mods, and more.

All old versions before v5 are now considered legacy and, unfortunately, won't be receiving updates anymore. We encourage users to update to v5 as soon as possible.

The latest version of Extreme Legacy Launcher is 4.0.1.5 and is still available for download here: Download ExtremeLauncher 4.0.1.5

For Minecraft versions up to and including 1.16, Java 8 is recommended. However, starting from Minecraft 1.17, Java 16 or higher is required. Similarly, Minecraft 1.18 and above mandate Java 17 or higher.

To run ExtremeLauncher 4.0.1.5, you will need the .NET Framework 4.7.2. Most systems already have this framework preinstalled. However, if you don't have it, you can download it for free from Microsoft.
